trying to work toward the finish...

This the next installment of animation. I was easily distracted today with the internet so I wasn't as focused, but still got some stuff done. His right hand didn't get smoothed and his chest seems a bit floaty...

Man, even on a Friday I still got an hour in. Yippie to me! I was just going to do a half hour, but just kept going.

Smoothing out steps

I started smoothing out more of the steps. Just a first pass at the first half of the animation. The right hand I haven't paid much attention to, but it seems a bit distracting.

I'm going to animate for one hour each day.

I actually did it today but was having problems getting the playblast to convert to something people could see. (I'm using 64-bit programs and the codec's are in 64-bit so they don't transfer well to 32-bit.) Tomorrow I'll create stills and make the movie in After Effects.

Old Man sketch

Well I'm rethinking my modeling of Lightning Mcqueen. I think I'm going back to one of my original projects rather than duplicating someone els' work. I think that will be better for the portfolio. Any way enjoy the sketch.

Texturing Complete!

One down and 3 to go...LOL Thank God for the Duplicate button. ;) The top image is a sticker I noticed while going through the movie Cars about a frame at a time so I figured I should add it too.

Now it's on to the body. I found a great neutral smile frame.
